In the Sharypovsky district of the region, the Sibagro Biotech company plans to build a plant for deep processing of grain. The volume of investments will exceed RUB 29 billion. Now the investor is registering land plots for the construction of facilities with the simultaneous transfer of land from agricultural purposes to industrial use.
The complex's capacity will be 250 thousand tons of wheat grain per year. The enterprise will produce biodegradable polymer polylactide (30 thousand tons per year), lysine chloride (40 thousand tons per year), gluten (21 thousand tons per year) and feed protein concentrate with 55% protein content (53 thousand tons in year). Some of the products will be exported.
Polylactide will be able to replace most of the traditional plastics used in disposable packaging and tableware, and partially solve the problem of environmental pollution. The Sibagro Biotech project provides for a twofold increase in polylactide production in the event of an increase in market demand.
The complex in Sharypovsky district will give a powerful impetus to the development of the entire region. Up to 700 jobs will be created, the budget effect over 10 years is estimated at 13 billion rubles.
