Spring field work has currently started in 19 regions.
The preparation of seed material continues - in general, the provision for key positions is comparable to last year. The situation with fuels and lubricants is also generally stable, the rate of acquisition of which exceeds last year's, and with prices for the main types of mineral fertilizers.
Separately, the Minister emphasized that in order to fully meet the needs of Russian farmers in ammonium nitrate during the sowing season, the Ministry of Agriculture applied to the Government with the initiative to extend the temporary ban on its export outside the EAEU until May 1. The agency's proposal was supported.
Particular attention at the meeting was paid to the issue of bringing state support funds to farmers by the regions. Dmitry Patrushev urged the subjects to accelerate the pace of this work.
