The holiday of young potatoes was celebrated for the third time in the Pogarsky district near the village of Lukin on Saturday, July 22. It was initiated by entrepreneurs engaged in the cultivation and processing of potatoes in the region.
The location of one of the main agricultural holidays in the region was not chosen by chance. The production of the second bread in the Bryansk region is one of the foundations of the Pogar economy. The commercial tubers grown here are sold throughout Russia and even abroad. For example, potato flakes from one of the local factories are known in Europe and America.
Despite the light rain, a lot of people came to the holiday. All guests were expected by interesting entertainment, performances by creative teams, as well as a competition for the best dish made from potatoes.
