In specialized farms of the Samara region, potatoes and vegetables are still being harvested: zucchini, eggplant, early varieties of cabbage, carrots, peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes.

Enterprises of three municipal districts of the Samara Region started to harvest potatoes: Bezenchuksky, Stavropolsky and Privolzhsky. The leader in productivity and gross harvest today is the Volga region, whose farms in the first days of work collected more than 2 tons of tubers.
Part of the harvest of the "second bread" - about 430 tons - has already been sold.
The gross harvest of vegetables is currently 3,8 thousand tons, 190 hectares have been harvested from 3,4 thousand hectares planned for harvesting. The area for planting vegetables has also increased this year - by 400 hectares.
“Farms of the Volga region started harvesting vegetables in early May. Thanks to irrigation, mainly drip, 2-3 harvests of radish were harvested, for which there was great demand at that time.
