Spring sowing is to be carried out on an area of 2,7 million hectares, of which early crops will occupy 2,2 million hectares and late crops - 500 thousand hectares, 94% of spring crops will be placed on the fall (2500 thousand hectares), 150 thousand hectares. ha - using direct sowing technology.
To date, the forecast for grain production is 6 million tons. It is planned to produce 1,6 million tons of sunflower, 280 thousand tons of sugar beet, 134,8 thousand tons of potatoes and 412 thousand tons of vegetables and melons, including greenhouse vegetables - 37,0 thousand tons, fruit - berry products - 77 thousand tons.
Agricultural producers of the region are fully provided with seeds for carrying out spring field work. Filled in 138 thousand tons (101% of the need), including more than 4,7 thousand tons of elite seeds, which is 1,4 times more than last year. More than 90,0 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers were purchased, which is 2,2 times more than the same period last year. The farms are fully provided with nitrogen fertilizers for feeding winter wheat (44 thousand tons).
Roman Kovalsky dwelled on the sources of financial support for seasonal field work, which are the own funds of agricultural producers and budget support.
For the current year, more than 2,2 billion rubles have been approved for the development of agriculture in the region.
For seasonal field work at the expense of budgets of two levels in 2021, about 700 million rubles are provided, of which by the beginning of spring field work - more than 280 million rubles within the framework of per hectare support, which is directed to the sown areas occupied by grain, legumes, fodder and oilseeds, as well as for the production of open field vegetables and potatoes. Since March 25, 2021, the Ministry of Agriculture has been accepting documents and has already brought 70 million rubles to agricultural producers.
Banks issued 3,8 billion rubles for spring sowing work at commercial, preferential rates, including 5 billion rubles under preferential loans at a rate of up to 2,0%.
Since the beginning of the year, 220 units of tractors, 60 combines, and 500 units of other equipment have already been purchased. In general, more than 6 thousand harrow, 3,5 thousand cultivator and 6,0 thousand seeding units will be involved in the spring campaign, their availability is 97%. The farms have the required amount of diesel fuel.
The reclamation complex is ready for the irrigation season. Crops will be irrigated on an area of over 115 thousand hectares. From March 15, 2021, the Varfolomeevskaya pumping station was put into operation to fill estuary irrigation lands in the Aleksandrovo - Gaysky district. Flooded 2,5 thousand hectares.
Roman Kovalsky noted that the Ministry of Agriculture of the region, in cooperation with agricultural producers in the region, will take the necessary measures to carry out the sowing campaign in the optimal agro-technological terms, to fulfill the structure of sown areas and to obtain the planned volumes of crop production.
