Research conducted by its specialists will help to identify potential threats to future crops in time, as well as create optimal protection and nutrition schemes for any crops. AgroLaboratoria-Stavropol became the sixth agro-consulting laboratory "Augusta" in Russia. Today the Stavropol Territory is one of the key agricultural regions of the country. In connection with the development of high-tech agriculture, there is an increasing need for agrochemical, biological and phytopathological research. In the future, the new laboratory should be developed as a full-fledged agrochemical center with a wide range of services, including for agricultural producers in neighboring regions.
“Every farmer now not only wants to know what exactly is happening in his farm with soil and plants, but also to receive clear practical recommendations: what fertilizers to apply in order to reach the planned yield indicators, how to cope with crop diseases. Moreover, the spread of diseases has recently been quite high, since the agricultural seasons of 2020 and 2021 in the Stavropol Territory turned out to be extraordinary: 2020 is too dry, 2021 is too rainy, "says Mikhail Suprunenko about the reasons for the growing demand for agricultural consulting. head of the new laboratory.
The agro-industrial complex of the Stavropol Territory today is on the path of large-scale technological and structural changes. So, there are more and more innovative projects, including super-intensive gardens in farms and private subsidiary plots. The creation of such gardens, the yield of which can be five times higher than usual, is supported at the regional level, says Mikhail Suprunenko. Similar results are achieved with the help of the most efficient use of areas, drip irrigation and highly productive varieties of fruit trees, planted close enough to each other using special supports and special crown formation.
“These trends increase the need for research of planting material and in the diagnosis of diseases of such trees in the future. In addition, viticulture and berry growing are developing - the cultivation of raspberries and garden strawberries, the popularity of the cultivation of blueberries and blueberries is growing. Agroanalytical research is also needed in these areas, ”says Mikhail Suprunenko.
The request from agricultural producers exists not only for the analyzes themselves, but also for the complete agronomic support of crops. Therefore, the laboratory continues to recruit employees with agronomic and agrochemical education. The opening of our own laboratory in the Stavropol Territory in "August" is considered as the first step towards the creation of a modern agrochemical center in the region, where farmers from other regions of the North Caucasus Federal District could apply for the necessary services.
AgroLaboratory-Stavropol conducts agrochemical analysis of soil, analyzes of the composition of water and fertilizers, phytoexamination of seeds and planting material, phytopathological and microbiological analysis of plant material, helminthological analysis of soil and plants, tissue diagnostics of plants for the content of macro- and microelements, determination of grain quality, comprehensive analysis of vegetable products pledged for storage, etc.
The laboratory is equipped with modern high-precision equipment from Russian and foreign manufacturers: its specialists already have an MSP-1 stereomicroscope, a biological microscope for laboratory research Olympus BX43, an Ohaus AX224 analytical balance, an MGA-1000 atomic absorption spectrometer, an automatic flame photometer FPA-2 -01, spectrophotometer KFK-3KM and much more. Also, the laboratory is assigned a vehicle with an automatic soil sampler, which allows its employees to quickly take samples over large areas.
