At a meeting of the committee on agrarian and land issues, nature management and ecology, the Dumas of the Stavropol Territory discussed the prospects for the development of the region's agro-industrial complex, the press service of the department reports.
One of the main issues is changing the parameters of the regional budget for the current year. The corresponding bill proposes to increase the cost of supporting the regional agro-industrial complex by 23,6 million rubles. In particular, the funds are planned to be directed to state support of scientific potential in the agro-industrial complex, ensuring the integrated development of rural areas and reimbursement of part of the costs of ensuring an increase in the production of greenhouse vegetables.
The deputies considered the draft law "On Amendments to the Law of the Stavropol Territory "On Ensuring the Fertility of Agricultural Land in the Stavropol Territory".
At the meeting, the parliamentarians also discussed the state and prospects for the development of the land reclamation system and the water management complex of the region. The information was provided by representatives of relevant departments.
Last year, 10 land reclamation facilities were put into operation on a total area of more than 5 hectares. 17 new irrigation projects are being implemented in the region on a total area of about 11,5 thousand hectares.
At the expense of the regional budget, this year project documentation will be developed for the construction of 7 bank protection structures in Budennovsky, Georgievsky, Izobilnensky, Kirovsky, Sovetsky districts. These facilities are included in the regional targeted investment program for 2022. There is a major overhaul of hydraulic structures in the Aleksandrovsky and Blagodarnensky districts. There are plans to overhaul another 5 ownerless GTS on the territory of Shpakovsky, Grachevsky and Budyonnovsky districts.
