The price per kilogram of potatoes in Syzran rose to 60-70 rubles per kg. At the same time, without waiting for the season, the price of tomatoes, cucumbers and a number of other products began to fall.
Samarastat announced the results of price monitoring in the region. The prices for beef and apples rose slightly, by 1-1,5%. Most of the products went up slightly, by a fraction of a percent. At the same time, a significant increase in prices was demonstrated by potatoes. This vegetable, necessary in the household, comes in Syzran at a price of up to 60 rubles per kilogram, and, for example, in a vegetable and fruit store on Pobeda Street - up to 70 rubles per kilogram. On average in the region, the cost of one kilogram of potatoes jumped 5% in a week.
There was also a decrease in average prices for a number of products. Thus, flour, biscuits and unground buckwheat fell in price by about 2%, and a kilogram of pork became cheaper by the same amount. And the price tags for tomatoes and cucumbers "fell" even more significantly, without waiting for the summer harvest season - when the price reduction would be logical. On average, in the Samara region, a kilogram of cucumbers has fallen in price by 5%, and tomatoes - by 10% at once, analysts of Samarastat noted.
