The number of farms using onion sowing is growing annually in Tajikistan mechanized seeders. As EastFruit experts note, on the eve of this year's sowing campaign, the state unitary enterprise Tajikagroleasing has already delivered modern equipment to a number of regions of the country.
“The mechanization of the sowing company allowed the farmers to carry out the sowing campaign in the allotted time, efficiently and without attracting a large amount of labor,” the company representatives note. “All equipment was purchased by farmers on a lease basis. In addition to the seeder, the equipment also includes devices for weeding, watering, feeding, spraying fields with pesticides for effective pest control. "
According to industry experts, the modernization and mechanization of onion production will allow Tajik producers to get a better crop of this crop. In addition, the mechanization of production reduces the use of physical labor by farmers, both during the growing season and during the harvest season.
It should be noted that in the next three years it is planned to completely mechanize the process of growing not only onions, but also potatoes in accessible places for mobile equipment in the mountain republic.
