On April 17, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov met with the head of the APH GROUP Witse Oosterban on the cultivation of potatoes and vegetables using Dutch technology.
The event was also attended by his deputies Ildus Gabdrakhmanov and Talgat Tagirzyanov, general director of Tatagroleasing JSC Azat Ziganshin, head of Service-Agro LLC Gabdelkhai Karimov and others.
It should be noted that Tatarstan and the Netherlands have been cooperating in the field of agriculture for many years. At present, dozens of republican companies work with Dutch business structures. Among them are Kamsky Bacon LLC, Chelny-Broiler LLC, Krasny Vostok Agro Management Company LLC, Service-Agro LLC and others. Also, Dutch companies supply strawberry seedlings, new potato varieties, and vegetable seeds to agricultural enterprises of Tatarstan.
During a recent trip to this country, Marat Akhmetov studied the technological schemes of the wholesale distribution center, examined the product packaging workshops and the integrated storage system for a large assortment of vegetables, which allows delivering high-quality goods to supermarkets and efficiently using resources, including saving energy.
During today's event, work was continued to introduce in Tatarstan highly efficient systems for growing, packaging and storing a vegetable group of products according to the “from field to counter” system. The parties considered a number of projects whose implementation is planned on the basis of the Narmonka agricultural company this year.
“The introduction of efficient and environmentally friendly storage systems for the vegetable group in the republic is a promising direction”, - noted Marat Akhmetov.
During the meeting, it was also decided to organize a training seminar for farmers in Tatarstan on ecological farming technologies used by Dutch companies.
