The Office of Rospotrebnadzor in the Tomsk Region informs about the results of control and supervisory measures for fruits and vegetables in the first half of 2018, the website of the department reports.
In a number of organizations of the Tomsk region during the first half of the year, violations of the current legislation of the Russian Federation were revealed. In particular, the products were unlabeled, with clear signs of poor quality. In this regard, 153 kilograms of vegetables were withdrawn from sale.
Also, in the first half of 2018, 212 samples of fruit and vegetable products were examined for sanitary and chemical indicators, of which five samples - beets, cabbage and freshly harvested potatoes - did not meet safety requirements in terms of nitrate content.
