On August 13, during a working visit to the Venevsky District, the Governor of the Tula Region Alexei Dyumin visited the largest grain storage complex in the region.
The agricultural enterprise "ZHAK" grows potatoes, vegetables, oilseeds, grains and legumes, and also produces milk. The total arable land area of the farm is about 50 thousand hectares. The enterprise has storage facilities, more than 300 pieces of equipment. It employs about 300 people. The planned gross harvest of grain crops is 140 tons, potatoes - 000 tons.
The total investment in the grain storage complex amounted to 1,1 billion rubles. It is built with a capacity of 134 tons with two drying circuits and two stages of grain cleaning. 000 new jobs were created.
“Your farm is one of the largest agricultural enterprises in the Central Federal District and one of the leaders in Russia in potato production. We have repeatedly spoken about the importance of processing raw materials. Last year, at the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi, we signed an agreement with your enterprise on the construction of a plant for deep processing of potatoes, ”said Alexey Dyumin.
To date, the design of this plant in Venev is underway. Construction is scheduled to begin at the end of 2020 and be completed at the end of 2022. The project cost is 1,5 billion rubles, it is planned to create 150 jobs.
