For the 2021 season, the VENTOR 4150 four-row self-propelled potato harvester is equipped with additional practice-oriented equipment.
For working conditions with long, tough potato tops
The VENTOR 4150 can be optionally equipped with the HT 400 defoliator, which is specially designed for extremely large quantities of long, tough potato leaves. Along with a significant increase in throughput, the use of a topper before the digging process ensures a decrease in crop losses on the large haulm conveyor. The potato leaves are distributed to the already harvested areas of the field by means of a discharge conveyor and an integrated leaf distributor. Depth control is carried out automatically by means of gauge skids and can be conveniently adjusted using the control panel in the cab. For road transport, the HT 400 is hydraulically folded and positioned above the excavator.
Reduced soil adhesion
For heavy soils, extremely wear resistant polyurethane coulter blades can be used, which minimize soil adhesion.
Additional stone protection on the spade share
In addition to the known shear bolts on the spade shares and on the share arm, the shares can be equipped with an additional shear bolt for overload protection. The different required shear force can be adjusted by changing the position of the bolts in the three holes.
Speedtronic Web
The optional Speedtronic-Web system automatically adjusts the speed of the screening belts, including the coarse leaf conveyor, depending on the driving speed. The system provides significant relief for the driver and the most gentle product handling.
Automatic cleaning of separation devices
The Turbo Clean function makes it easier to clean certain conveyors and separators. For this, the drives of the conveyors and separating devices are started sequentially at maximum speed, thereby achieving self-cleaning. Turbo Clean can be activated manually at the push of a button or automatically at the end of the field.
Self-propelled harvester with super-lean tires
VENTOR 4150 can be optionally equipped with large size MICHELIN CEREXBIB 2 tires with dimensions VF 900/60 R38. Thanks to MICHELIN UltraFlex technology, these tires can be driven with a lower air pressure, which significantly increases the supporting surface for optimum soil conservation and reliable operation.
Fast unloading of the hopper
The hopper discharge conveyor drive has been modified so that the 15 t hopper discharge time is reduced from 90 seconds to 60 seconds.
Display of the amount of the harvest: Digital accounting of the amount of the harvest
In order to document the amount of harvest, the VENTOR 4150 can be equipped with an integrated harvest display system. Based on this data, it is possible to compile a field map showing differentiated areas with high and low yield zones. With the help of the Farm Management Information System (FMIS), on the basis of a field map with displaying areas of different yields, it is possible to draw up a special field map for processing specific areas using the exact amount of necessary fertilizers, plant protection products and planting material. All measured values can be saved in ISO-XML format and transferred using a USB stick or the universal, manufacturer-independent communication platform “agrirouter”.
