We invite you to take part in the scientific and practical seminar "Potato seed production: innovative technologies and new promising varieties"
Over 200 people will take part in the event. Participants will get acquainted with modern methods of obtaining and clonal propagation of in vitro material, technologies for growing mini- and microtubers, features of the production of original seed potatoes in high mountains, modern technologies for storing, sorting and packaging seed lots of potatoes.
The demonstration site will feature new promising and most popular varieties of domestic and foreign selection, which are in high demand on the market for seed and marketable potatoes.
The participants of the seminar will visit nurseries for growing primary field generations of original seed potatoes in a high-mountainous zone and production planting of super-elite and elite potatoes of FAT-AGRO LLC.
Also, within the framework of the program, a meeting will be held with key topics:
- Improvement and updating of the regulatory framework for quality control of seed potatoes.
- Development of the potato industry in the Russian Federation
- Advanced technologies in seed production from test tube to elite
- Development of potato breeding and seed production in the Russian Federation
