According to the Arbuz information portal, the Astrakhan authorities intend to transfer 9 hectares of orphaned land to the MAPS company engaged in potato cultivation in the Enotaevsky region to expand production.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Astrakhan region, now in the region there are about 200 arable land - unused land that can be transferred to investors in the near future for the implementation of a number of agricultural projects.
The MAPS company will receive land that is currently not used, on which it will be able to build additional vegetable stores, as well as expand the area planted with potatoes. In total, it is planned to build four new vegetable stores, and the planting area will increase from 280 to 840 hectares. In addition to potatoes, MAPS intends to grow crops. The development strategy of the Astrakhan region until 2035 states that the project should be fully implemented by 2026.
