5-7 JULY 2017 The largest exhibition-demonstration of advanced technologies in agricultural production this year was held in the same extreme conditions in which agricultural producers in many Russian regions had to work most of the season.
The heavy rain that charged right in the morning of the first day of the forum, of course, made adjustments to the work of the stands, but did not force the organizers and guests to abandon the main points of the business and holiday program. According to the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexander Tkachev, who opened the exhibition: “This is a bright event, despite the bad weather. And let this rain be harvested! ”
The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation devoted his further speech to the achievements of Russian farmers, stressing that over the past three years, the import of agricultural products in the country has decreased by 2,5 times. “We are increasing in production volume, increasing in the quality of production, and, of course, we are returning to our own Russian land, thereby displacing imported products,” Tkachev said. According to the minister, in 5-7 years Russia will completely switch to the production of domestic food products and will be able to enter other markets.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chinese Minister of Agriculture Han Changfu attended the opening ceremony.
A representative of the PRC government visited the forum to get acquainted with the export potential of the regions. And there really was something to see at the exhibition.
On 60 hectares of experimental fields, presentation areas of the Crop Production sections (72 plots of the experimental field with cultivated crops), Engineering and Technical Support of the Agricultural Sector (stationary and individual displays of equipment), Livestock Production (breeding animal exposition) and Campus ( innovative technologies). The novelty of 2017 was the “Robotics” section: visitors to this block could evaluate unmanned aerial vehicles and light agricultural aircraft of Tatarstan manufacturers. A lot of attention was attracted by the prototype quadrocopter with increased payload for processing crops and aircraft of the Farmer series.
In total, more than 330 companies from Russia, Belarus and Germany demonstrated their products. The forum featured over 1,1 thousand types of machinery and equipment for the cultivation of crops, livestock and processing industries.
The decoration of the exhibition was the national courtyards of the peoples of Russia. Field Day guests were able to enjoy the beauty of bright national costumes, fiery and melodic songs; learn more about the history of various nations.
The forum was also remembered for its rich business program: seminars, meetings and meetings were aimed at discussing the most pressing problems of agriculture.
Over the three days of operation, the All-Russian Field Day was visited by over 10 thousand people.
