From 23 to 26 November 2021, the 28th International Exhibition "YUGAGRO 2021" was held in Krasnodar.
The YUGAGRO exhibition has once again become a unique business platform for the country for interaction between manufacturers, suppliers and farmers from Russia and the CIS after a forced pause in 2020. The entire agro-industrial complex of Russia was presented at one exhibition: agricultural machinery, seeds, fertilizers, protective equipment, equipment for storage, processing, irrigation and greenhouses. After a long break in business activity, farmers, manufacturers and suppliers managed to negotiate, negotiate terms and agree on supplies before the start of the new agricultural season. At the exhibition, visitors could see new items, make purchases for the next year and cover all the needs of their production. The largest distributors have also shown a special interest in YUGAGRO 2021.
Over 640 companies from 25 countries took part in the exhibition. More than 150 companies presented their products for the first time. Companies from Italy, Germany and Turkey have united in national pavilions. The exhibition was attended by 14 farmers from 381 regions of Russia: from the Far East to the Republic of Crimea. These are representatives of agricultural firms, agricultural complexes and peasant farms, suppliers of agricultural machinery and spare parts, agrochemical products and planting materials.
Exhibition exposition
At the YUGAGRO exhibition, the specialists of the agro-industrial complex had the opportunity to get acquainted with everything necessary for crop farming on one site: from equipment for preparing the soil for planting work to the final packaging of products. The exposition of the YUGAGRO exhibition was presented in four sections.
More than 200 leading global and domestic manufacturers and suppliers have become participants in the section "Agricultural machinery and spare parts"... The companies represented the following countries: Italy, Germany, Spain, China, Poland, South Korea, Turkey, USA, Greece and Brazil. Visitors to the exhibition could see grain and forage harvesters, tractors, reapers, windrowers, other equipment for tillage and fertilization, as well as trailed vehicles and accessories.
Rostselmash presented more than 10 agricultural machines and units, including such novelties as tractors with articulated and classic frames RSM 3535 DT and RSM 1370, double-drum combine harvester RSM T500, as well as a range of agronomic services and digital solutions. The visitors of the exhibition could also see the already well-known and highly recommended Rostselmash developments: combine harvesters RSM 161 and TORUM 785, as well as a forage harvester RSM F 2650.
Participation in the exhibition "YUGAGRO 2021" brought outstanding results to the Altai machine-building plants "Almaz". According to the manufacturer, it was one of the most successful exhibitions for the company in several years. During the "YUGAGRO 2021" "Almaz" sold all the presented equipment. In addition to exhibition samples, contracts were signed for the supply of more than 10 pieces of equipment. Several stands presented at YUGAGRO 2021 another area of activity of Altai machine-building plants - the production of spare parts for agricultural machinery. Despite the small area occupied by these stands, negotiations were conducted on huge quantities: in total, contracts worth more than 2 billion rubles were signed for the supply of spare parts at the exhibition.
For foreign manufacturers, the exhibition is a tool to strengthen their positions in the Russian market. Brazilian manufacturer Jacto, whose products are exported to more than 110 countries, focuses on Russia. The company's plans are to triple the volume of sales in the Russian market by 2023.
In section "Agrochemistry and seeds" over 210 companies presented novelties for the selection of the most popular agricultural crops, a huge range of fertilizers, including micronutrient fertilizers and certified potash, nitrogen, phosphorus, organic and liquid fertilizers. In addition, chemical and biological plant protection products and complex programs, agrochemicals, and preparations for the protection of gardens were demonstrated. The participants were manufacturers and suppliers from Russia, Turkey, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Spain, China, Hungary, Belarus, the Netherlands and Cyprus.
During the days of the exhibition, the Corteva Agriscience stand and the conference on sustainable solutions in the field of agricultural production organized by the company, timed to coincide with the 95th anniversary of the Pioneer brand, were attended by over 1 representatives of agricultural enterprises from all over Russia. Negotiations were held with farms from the South, North Caucasus, North-West, Central, Volga, Ural, Siberian and Far Eastern federal districts, as well as Kazakhstan. “Participation in the YUGAGRO exhibition is a unique opportunity for a company to meet with the country's farmers in a few days, not only talk about new products, but also get feedback and summarize the preliminary results of the outgoing agricultural season: how our products have shown themselves, and what we see further prospects in various segments of crop production ”, - shared his opinion Alexander Kozachkov, head of the Corteva Agriscience business in Russia.
The Shchelkovo Agrokhim company has prepared a large number of new drugs for its customers. The Soko company, a leading producer of soybean seeds, presented varieties adapted to various soil and climatic conditions. PhosAgro-Region and Agroplem signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of increasing soil fertility. Novelties of plant protection products were presented by the Syngenta company. Nine of them are currently being registered and will be available to farmers by the beginning of the 2022 season. Bayer, an international concern specializing in life sciences solutions for healthcare and agriculture, has provided farmers with new technologies for herbicidal protection of crops and row crops by the beginning of field work in 2022. Akron took part in the exhibition for the first time and presented a full range of mineral fertilizers.
One of the largest Russian producers of seeds of domestic and import selection, ROSAGROTRADE, presented a wide range of seeds of hybrids of corn, sunflower, sorghum, sugar beet, soybeans, peas, barley and wheat to the visitors of the YUGAGRO exhibition.
In section «Storage and processing equipment " visitors could get acquainted with a large selection of packaging machines, grain dryers, color sorters, grain storage silos, calibration cleaners, devices for measuring temperature and humidity inside storage facilities, equipment for transporting grain and bulk materials, ventilation, refrigeration chambers, fruit storages, vegetable stores, sorting lines vegetables and fruits, turnkey seed plant solutions and much more. About 140 exhibitors from countries such as Russia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Turkey, China demonstrated their products.
Voronezhselmash, a leading manufacturer of equipment for post-harvest processing, showed both novelties, including a conveyor grain dryer and two types of separators, and a traditionally demanded primary grain cleaning machine.
In section "Equipment for irrigation and greenhouses" exhibition visitors could familiarize themselves with a wide range of solutions for greenhouse farms of all sizes, irrigation equipment and irrigation equipment. The section was attended by over 90 companies from Russia, Azerbaijan, the Netherlands, Turkey, Greece, Serbia and other countries.
Business program
The business program of the YUGAGRO exhibition acts as a platform for an effective dialogue between agricultural producers, business and government and brings together key players in the discussion of the most pressing and topical issues of the agro-industrial complex development. In total, within the framework of the business program, more than 30 events were held with the participation of 80 speakers.
The plenary session on the topic "The matter of technology: the role of technology in increasing the profitability of the agro-industrial complex" gave a start to the events of the YUGAGRO 2021 business program. The speakers were: Member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vladimir Beketov, Minister of Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Krasnodar Territory Fedor Dereka, Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnodar Territory Alexander Trubilin, General Director of Rosagroleasing JSC Pavel Kosov, General Director of the Institute for Agricultural Market Studies (IKAR) Dmitry Rylko. The event was moderated by Igor Abakumov, General Director of the Krestyanskie Vedomosti media group.
In his speech, a member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Beketov, emphasized that within the framework of the Food Security Doctrine of Russia, the country's agro-industrial complex is faced with the task of reaching self-sufficiency in all major types of agricultural products, and holding exhibitions such as YUGAGRO will contribute to this. The Minister of Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Krasnodar Territory Fedor Dereka said that today the Kuban produces 7% of all agricultural products in Russia, 40% on the scale of the Southern Federal District.
At the conference "Organic agriculture and the biologization of agriculture - state and prospects", organic producers, experts of the organic sector, government officials and business representatives discussed the path of development of organic production in Russia, the specifics of certification and the possibility of state support.
Ambassador of the Netherlands to Russia Hilles Beshoor Plukh and agricultural adviser Henk Stigter met in Krasnodar with Dutch companies participating in YUGAGRO. Hilles Beskhor Plukh noted that sustainable development of agriculture is an important topic for cooperation with Russia and the Krasnodar Territory. “If we continue to work together, we can serve as an example for other countries,” the ambassador said.
