Dozens of Russian and foreign experts on one site - the Siberian Agrarian Week and the XNUMXth Novosibirsk Agro-Food Forum finished their work in Novosibirsk.
From November 27 to 29, 2019, the Novosibirsk ExpoCenter International Exhibition Complex hosted the largest Siberian Agrarian Week international agro-industrial exhibition beyond the Urals and the IV Novosibirsk Agro-Food Forum. The stands of the Siberian Agrarian Week and business events of the Novosibirsk Agro-Food Forum were attended by over 7 thousand professional visitors, including guests from Altai and Krasnoyarsk Territories, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Omsk and Tomsk Regions, Buryatia and Altai, and subjects of the Far East Federation.
The Siberian Agrarian Week was held with the support of the office of the plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the Siberian Federal District, the Government of the Novosibirsk Region and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Novosibirsk Region. The exhibition operator is Siberian Exhibition Company LLC. The organizer of the VI Novosibirsk Agro-Food Forum is the Government of the Novosibirsk Region with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
“The exhibition and the forum complement each other, creating a synergistic effect that attracts guests from various regions of the country to Novosibirsk,” said the Minister of Agriculture of the Novosibirsk Region, Yevgeny Leshchenko, summing up the results of the exhibition and forum. “We plan to maintain this format of work: the joint holding of an agri-food forum with an extensive business program and the Siberian Agrarian Week.”
The business program of the forum, according to the minister, was distinguished by thematic diversity and relevance. Here you could get comprehensive information about organic farming, insurance, product quality management in crop production, improving the efficiency of dairy farming and beef cattle breeding and much more.
The key events of the forum were: - Plenary session “Russian Village. Development Potential ”with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
- A meeting chaired by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dzhambulat Khatuov “On ensuring epizootic well-being, material and technical equipment of state veterinary services of the subjects of the Siberian and Ural Federal Districts and the results of the introduction of electronic veterinary certification”.
- A meeting of the expert advisory board of the Inter-regional Association “Siberian Agreement” on agriculture on the implementation of the federal project “Export of agricultural products”.

According to Eugene Leshchenko, at the exhibition agreements were signed for the purchase of 127 units of machinery and equipment. The Ministry of Agriculture of the Novosibirsk Region has signed cooperation agreements with Navigator - New Machine Building LLC (a Russian manufacturer of agricultural machinery and municipal equipment) and the National Union of Agricultural Insurers.
“Thinking about the prospects of the Siberian Agrarian Week, its development as a project, we first of all set ourselves the goal of being useful to the agricultural sector,” says Elena Saigashova. - What does it mean? In our understanding, these are effective technical and technological solutions and the most complete information about the existing practical experience in new directions for farmers ”.
The Siberian Exhibition Company has begun preparations for the International Agroindustrial Exhibition “Siberian Agrarian Week 2020”.
