In the industrial and logistics park of the Novosibirsk region, a PepsiCo warehouse for raw materials was launched, the construction of which cost $ 30 million. It will become part of a new production of snacks - KhrusTeam crackers and Lay's chips.
Now the new facility is working in the format of commissioning, but it has already received the first batch of potatoes. The company claims that container storage technologies are used for the warehouse operation, which help to reduce potato losses by 3-7%. Automation of all processes has also been introduced in the new warehouse, and the thermal insulation of the roof and walls has been reinforced to avoid heat loss.
