The Russian Ministry of Agriculture has begun work on a bill that will allow farmers to sell their products on their own land plots. The draft document was published on December 21 on the portal of regulatory legal acts.
At present, peasant (farmer) households and agricultural consumer cooperatives that have plots from the category of agricultural land cannot sell their products there, as well as build residential buildings.
The bill provides for the introduction of appropriate changes to the federal law "On peasant (farm) economy", they will resolve the issue of selling such products.
If the document is adopted, it will be able to sell it at non-stationary facilities that will be located on land plots owned by farmers, in special non-residential premises of a farm house built on a land plot of a peasant farm or agricultural cooperative.
Such retail outlets can be connected to the engineering networks available on the land plot.
