In 2021, 15 projects are being implemented in the Stavropol Territory to irrigate farmland on a total area of more than 12 thousand hectares. The cost of reclamation systems is estimated at 3 billion rubles, of which 425,8 million rubles are subsidized to Stavropol farmers. In the budgets of the federal and regional levels for the implementation of new irrigation projects, state support is provided in the amount of 192,5 million rubles for classical melioration and 233,3 million rubles for export melioration.
To date, work is underway on seven projects on a total area of 4,9 thousand hectares worth 789 million rubles.
Within the framework of classical reclamation, new irrigation systems are being built on an area of 2,5 thousand hectares at LLC Agroholding Krasnogvardeisky and LLC SHP Zarya of the Krasnogvardeisky District, LLC Mezhdurechye of the Kochubeevsky District and LLC Fruktovaya Dolina in Nevinnomyssk.
They are also starting work on the construction of a new irrigation at the SPK breeding plant "Vostok" - the enterprise specializes in the cultivation of the North Caucasian meat and wool sheep breed, but it has 21,9 thousand hectares of farmland at its disposal. This year, the SEC launched an irrigation project for 156 hectares, its cost is estimated at over 40 million rubles. The section of the projected irrigation pipeline is located on the left bank of the "Big Left Bank Canal" and is supplied from it. The enterprise plans to complete the construction of the frontal irrigation system and begin irrigation at the end of May.
They also announced their intention to build new irrigation systems and increase the irrigation area in three enterprises of the Novoselitsky district: LLC "My Dream", LLC "SHP" Svobodny Trud "and LLC OPH" Luch ".
- During a working trip to Novoselitskiy Okrug, we met with the heads of these enterprises, discussed the prospects for the development of irrigation systems. The farmers plan to start projects in 2022 and implement them in stages. The Stavropol region is a zone of risky agriculture, therefore, an increase in the area of irrigated land is dictated by production needs, but state support allows agrarians to minimize the costs of land reclamation projects, - said Vyacheslav Dryiger, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory.
In particular, OOO SKhP "Luch" plans to cover 2100 hectares with reclamation work in addition to the already existing 1400 hectares of irrigated land.
In addition to the construction of new irrigation systems, work is underway to preserve and restore the existing ones. In particular, during the working trip of Vyacheslav Dridiger to the Soviet district, the issue of clearing the Arkhangelsk water distributor was discussed, which is necessary for irrigating agricultural lands of the agricultural farm of the Kumskoy pedigree reproducer. The SEC grows fodder for its livestock on these lands.
