The inter-sectoral ecosystem "Agroproryv" is one of six projects of the Republic's frontal strategy, designed to have a positive impact on the socio-economic development of Chuvashia.
According to the Head of the Chuvash Republic, Oleg Nikolaev, with the help of a project worth over 12 billion rubles, a set of important tasks for the development of the agricultural sector of the region will be solved, including reducing dependence on imports of hatching eggs, breeding cattle, potatoes, including seeds, and hops. as well as an increase in the production of ware potatoes and an increase in the milk yield of domestically bred cows.
The implementation of the Agroproryv project will increase production by 15% by 2024 and by 43% by 2030, will lead to an increase in employment by 13% by 2024 from the current 62 thousand people. and by 28% by 2030 - up to 81 thousand people.
The project itself as a whole is intended to have a beneficial effect on the indicators of the quality of life of citizens through an increase in food supply, an increase in the quality and consumer properties of agricultural products.
The traditional culture for the republic is potatoes. Within the framework of the frontal strategy, the Chuvash Republic, on the basis of the existing potato seed-breeding center, plans to create a scientific and industrial agro-technological park for the intensive production and deep processing of this crop.
With subsidies from the federal budget of up to 40% for technical modernization, the volume of production of ware potatoes can be increased by 15% by 2024, by the same period to reduce import dependence by a quarter, by 2030 - by 30% and 55%, respectively. Today, the share of domestic varieties in the fields of farms is 20%.
It is also envisaged to create trade and logistics platforms on the basis of cooperation of small, large and medium-sized producers to achieve a balance of interests of farmers and buyers.
