Agricultural producers of Bashkortostan sent 6 applications for the construction of new reclamation systems in 2022, with a capacity of 3,2 thousand hectares and with a total cost of more than 1 billion rubles, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia reports.
The events are planned within the framework of the State Program for the effective involvement of agricultural land in the circulation and the development of the reclamation complex of the Russian Federation, which has been launched since the beginning of the year, said Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus - Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov at a meeting of the Government of the region. All projects have passed a competitive selection, but funding is planned when additional funds are allocated from the federal budget.
“The active construction of reclamation systems is an opportunity to reduce the dependence of farmers on weather conditions when growing crops,” said Ilshat Fazrakhmanov. “The dry conditions of past seasons are pushing us to do so. It is important to skillfully use the possibilities of the new state program for land reclamation, which allows you to reimburse up to half of the costs for the construction of irrigation systems.”
From 2014 to 2021, within the framework of the previously existing departmental program "Development of the reclamation complex of Russia", new irrigation systems were built in the republic on an area of 3,7 thousand hectares. The volume of subsidies allocated from the federal and republican budgets amounted to more than 382 million rubles.
