The 32nd International Specialized Exhibition "AgroComplex - 2022" has started its work in Ufa, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia reports.
This year more than 280 companies from 31 regions of Russia and the Republic of Belarus take part in the exhibition. In addition, a major manufacturer of agricultural machinery from China (Chinese tractors from Zoomlon) will exhibit for the first time.
Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov and Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Andrey Razin took part in the opening ceremony and read the greetings of Dmitry Patrushev, Head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, to the participants and guests of the exhibition.
In his welcoming address, the minister noted that due to active technical modernization and the introduction of modern technologies, in recent years the agricultural industry has become one of the most advanced and most intensively developing in the Russian economy. Further tasks include increasing the level of food security, increasing the production of high value-added products, increasing the efficiency of agricultural enterprises, and strengthening the country's position in the world market.
According to Dmitry Patrushev, a significant contribution to this work is made by the Republic of Bashkortostan, which is the largest producer of crop products in the Volga Federal District and, in general, one of the strongest agricultural regions in Russia. The agro-industrial complex of the subject from year to year demonstrates high rates both in crop production and in animal husbandry.
Andrey Razin spoke at the plenary session "Food production with a "zero" carbon footprint". In particular, he noted that the measures currently being taken in Russia to adapt agricultural production to climate change can ensure stable crops and minimize losses from adverse weather conditions. The event was moderated by Inna Ganenko, editor-in-chief of the Agroinvestor magazine.
In total, more than 220 regional and federal speakers confirmed their participation in the business program of the forum. It is expected to sign agreements with suppliers of agricultural machinery and equipment, as well as in the field of digitalization of the agro-industrial complex.
