Omsk farmers, the Knysh brothers told the head of the region about the prospects for the development of an investment project for the storage and processing of vegetables worth 80 million rubles.
The head of the region, Alexander Burkov, visited a modern infrastructure complex for primary processing and storage of agricultural products. The company is located in the village of Achair Omsk region.
The potato storage facility is located in close proximity to the sown areas of the peasant farm of the Knysh brothers. This allows you to reduce transportation costs and maintain the quality of the product laid for storage, and this is 5 thousand tons of potatoes. The microclimate in the storage room is configured and monitored from a personal computer. The potato storage facility is equipped with modern tuber processing lines: washing, cleaning, packing in a net, bag or polypropylene bag.
In 2018, it is planned to supplement the line for cleaning and evacuating potatoes with equipment for the production of french fries, potato wedges, cubes with further deep freezing and packaging. “This is a completely different level of added value, a different level of income. It is important that farmers decided to take this step - to create a completely new facility from scratch by purchasing modern processing lines for processing raw materials. It is clear that retail chains accept the packaged products with a bang. But, I believe, it is necessary to work out the issue of ensuring that our Omsk enterprises with high-quality local products take an active part in competitions for the supply of food to the same budget institutions. In my opinion, this modern vegetable storehouse is one of the few infrastructure facilities that can withstand quality competition, ”said Alexander Burkov.
Last year, farmers Alexey and Oleg Knyshi increased the gross harvest of potatoes by one and a half times - from 3,7 to 5,6 thousand tons. To the head of the region, Alexander Burkov, they not only presented technologies in the field of storage and processing of raw materials, but also talked about plans for the development of a vegetable warehouse. This is an expansion of production for the deep processing of vegetable products due to an increase in the sowing of carrots, beets, cabbage, onions and a 4-fold increase in the capacity of the vegetable store - up to 20 thousand tons. The volume of investments in the implementation of the first phase of this facility exceeded 80 million rubles. The support of the regional government provided the Knysz brothers' peasant farms with a cost-recovery of 13,2 million rubles in subsidies. With the launch of a new facility at a design capacity of 20 thousand tons of one-time storage of products and their processing, the size of state support will increase multiply.
“For a region where only potatoes are grown up to 800 thousand tons per year, issues of quality storage and further processing of agricultural products are of fundamental importance. And today we already see the return on the implementation of the investment project in the form of 22 created jobs and two million tax deductions to the budget. This is not so much, but it is more important to see and understand the social and economic effect in the future. After all, the creation and development of such enterprises will determine the development of the industry and the strengthening of rural settlements, ”said Alexander Burkov.
The second object visited by Alexander Burkov was the new livestock complex of the Cherlak farm “Triticum”. Last fall, the farm launched a livestock complex for 520 cows of the dairy herd with a homeless housing system and a milking parlor using Europarallel technology. Previously, the enterprise of the Irtysh rural settlement of Cherlaksky district was engaged only in crop production, now the head of the farm, Alexander Levshunov, is developing cattle breeding. The complex is equipped with a modern automated herd management, milking and feeding system .... This made it possible to achieve an increase in the volume of milk yield to the level of 6000 liters of milk per year. Such farms in the region have not yet recruited even two dozen. “On a farm, the average daily milk yield exceeds 20 liters per cow, and the head of the farm does not consider this the limit. A modern milking parlor, good equipment, modern livestock conditions are the future. And the state’s task is to support such enterprises, ”said Alexander Burkov. The peasant farm received a subsidy of 38,3 million rubles to create a new facility. The total investment capacity of the project, taking into account the modernization of potato production, amounted to 120 million rubles. ... According to the Omsk Province portal, the meeting dealt not only with agricultural production, subsidies or targeted support for individual projects, but also with the development of the village as a whole. Under this priority task, the strengthening of Omsk villages, Alexander Burkov believes, should be sharpened all the organizational and financial resources to support agriculture, the development of agricultural and livestock production.
