The complex of new equipment was received within the framework of the grant "Creation of selection and seed production and selection and breeding centers in the field of agriculture for the creation and implementation of modern technologies in the agro-industrial complex based on the own developments of scientific and educational organizations" of the national project "Science and Universities".
“A quadrocopter complete with a mobile station will significantly improve the work of scientists at the selection center of the Omsk ANC,” comments the head. laboratory of agrochemistry Natalya Balabanova. - The information received from the multispectral camera of the quadrocopter will serve as a means for creating electronic field maps, digital terrain models, and will make it possible to conduct operational monitoring of farmland and experimental fields. This will allow scientists and farmers to quickly adjust the system for applying fertilizers and plant protection products, based on the actual state of crops in different parts of the field.”
The cost of the received equipment is about 1 million rubles. This is far from the first delivery of equipment within the framework of this grant. In 2022, equipment was purchased in the laboratory of plant immunity, grain quality, biochemistry and plant physiology of the breeding and seed center.
