Over the past four years, when the specialists of the Orenburg branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rosselkhoztsentr" began to produce and sell "Gumat + 7", interest in this organo-mineral fertilizer has grown significantly among Orenburg farmers, the official website reports. Ministry of Agriculture, Trade, Food and Processing Industry of the Orenburg Region.
"Gumat + 7" is an improved version of the previous generation of the drug, which was called "Gumat 80" and was quite popular. In the updated preparation "Gumat + 7" humic acids are contained in the form of complex compounds with minerals, which gives a synergistic effect. Therefore, the drug is both a growth regulator and a fertilizer. However, "Gumat + 7" can be considered not as the main fertilizer for plant nutrition, but as an additional one. After all, the main function of the drug is to improve the biochemistry of the soil. Therefore, it contains no phosphorus and a very small proportion of nitrogen.
Employees of the Orenburg branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rosselkhoztsentr" all this time made significant efforts to popularize the possibilities of fertilizer among agricultural firms and peasant farms in the region. Conducted tours of the workshops of the enterprise, offered, for the sake of experiment, partial processing of fields - to understand how effective the drug is. Agronomists were advised on the place, time of applying fertilizer to the soil and its concentration.
This year, in the western and central zones of the region, where farmers have a real interest in fertilizer, 3 experiments on the use of humates were carried out. Experiments were laid on a total area of 616 hectares.
In the Buzuluksky district, located in the western climatic zone of the Orenburg region, an experiment was laid on the vegetation of winter wheat. In OOO Lipovskoye, Gumat+7 was applied in a tank mix with herbicides at a dosage of 1,5 liters of the drug per hectare.
As a result of the experiment on winter wheat Scepter (on a total area of 112 hectares), the grain yield was 48 centners per hectare, which was 1 centner per hectare higher compared to the control variant. On winter wheat "Ear of Orenburg" (on an area of 104 hectares), the average yield was 40 centners per hectare, which was 2 centners per hectare higher compared to the control variant.
In addition, "Gumat + 7" had an impact on improving the quality of grain. After the analysis by the specialists of the Orenburg branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rosselkhozcenter" it was found that the grain of winter wheat "Ear of Orenburg" in the variant with the use of humate corresponds to the 3rd class. And without the use of humate, the grain of the same variety of winter wheat can only correspond to the 4th class.
In the central climatic zone of the Orenburg region, experience with the use of "Gumat + 7" was laid down in the IP GKFH Perepelkin V.A. on spring wheat "Saratovskaya 42". It was held on an area of 400 hectares. Humate was used for seed treatment in a tank mixture with a chemical disinfectant at a dosage of 0,25 liters per ton, and also for vegetation in a tank mixture with herbicides at a dosage of 1 liter per hectare. The yield in the experimental variant was 12,0 centners per hectare, which was higher by 0,5 centners per hectare compared to the control variant.
The experiments carried out by the specialists of the Orenburg branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rosselkhoztsentr" showed the advantages of using such an organo-mineral fertilizer as "Gumat + 7". Since its main feature remains the natural, natural structure of the drug and an extremely low concentration per hectare of treatment.
Growth in demand for the drug in the near future is predicted by specialists from the Orenburg branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Rosselkhoztsentr.
