Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree extending for another six months - until July 1, 2023 - the import of pesticides and agrochemicals into Russia through any checkpoints, the corresponding document is published on the official portal of legal information.
According to the document, changes are made to the decree dated April 18, 2022, the words “until December 31, 2022 inclusive” are replaced by the words “until July 1, 2023.”
Since the end of June last year, pesticides and agrochemicals could only be imported into Russia through certain border checkpoints. In April of this year, Putin signed a decree allowing the import of pesticides and agrochemicals through any checkpoints until July 1, 2022. Later, the decree was extended until December 31, 2022, and now until July 1, 2023.
