Abnormal heat, strong winds and heavy rainfall in the Orenburg region have already caused the death of agricultural crops on an area of about 400 thousand hectares.
A state of emergency has been declared since September 29 in Mednogorsk, Novotroitsk, Orsk, Gaisky, Kuvandyksky and Yasnensky urban districts, as well as in Adamovsky, Dombarovsky, Kvarkensky, Novoorsky and Svetlinsky districts of the region.
