Dutch company Kiremko considers the possibility of creating an enterprise for processing potatoes in Uzbekistan.
For this, the company’s management expressed its readiness to cooperate with the Association of Potato Producers of Uzbekistan and organize training courses on the production and storage of seed potatoes.
"We plan to work more actively with potato producers in Uzbekistan in order to implement a project in the future to create an enterprise for processing potatoes in the republic and establish a line for the production of French fries and chips.", - Regional Sales Manager for a Dutch company Kiremko Twan van den Berg.
It is noted that the parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation in joint projects within the framework of the meeting of representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Benelux countries and Kiremko in Utrecht. According to the research results, more than 540 tons of French fries and about 880 tons of mashed potatoes are also used every month in the catering system of Tashkent.
