At AgroAlliance-NN LLC in the city of Perevozsky, the shipment of seed potatoes began.
The first batch went to the Krasnodar Territory, where in the near future they will begin spring field work.
In 2018, on the 100 hectares of land, the AgroAlliance-NN Society planted six varieties of potatoes for seed purposes.
“According to weather conditions, last year was not entirely favorable for this culture. Landings could suffer from the May cold, and from the summer heat, and from drought, if not for intensive cultivation technology- says company manager Kirill Kraev. - This is a whole range of activities from preparing soil and tubers for planting to harvesting and laying it in storage. Equally important is the observance of the optimal regime for the storage of tubers, which we maintain using ventilation and climate control systems ”.
He said that this work is performed by a team of eleven people. Each of these specialists has the necessary experience and thoroughly knows all the details of the intensive technology of cultivating the crop.
“The presence of a highly professional team and a good material and technical base made it possible to get a high yield. 29 tons were collected from each hectare, with healthy tubers- emphasizes the head. - This is also confirmed by documents issued by the transport department of the Rosselkhoztsentr on the basis of testing and tuber analysis, which experts carried out in the summer-autumn period ".
In 2019, in addition to the already tested Colombo, Red Scarlet, Colette, Red Sonya, Madeira, Bernina, AgroAlliance-NN LLC plans to plant a super elite of new varieties - Memphis and Sylvanas. The farm also wants to increase the area under potatoes.
