The Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues Vladimir Kashin congratulated the Governor of the Bryansk Region Alexander Bogomaz on being awarded the title “Honorary Worker of the Agro-Industrial Complex of Russia”.
Vladimir Kashin and his colleagues visited the Bryansk region and personally made sure that the Bryansk region really made a huge breakthrough in the development of agriculture.
“According to many indicators, we see movement in the Bryansk region, moreover than in Russia as a whole. And these are not just some PR technology systems, but real life! ”He said.
Today, the region fully meets its own needs for basic food products. In 2018, products amounted to 86,6 billion rubles, the growth by 2017 amounted to 103,1% (in 2013 it amounted to 43,4 billion rubles). In the gross regional product of the Bryansk region, the share of agriculture increased from 7 to 17,2%.
The sown area of crops is increasing annually. In 2018, in farms of all categories, it increased by 11 thousand ha compared to the previous year and amounted to 871,3 thousand ha (in 2013 - 780,4 thousand ha). In the industrial production of potatoes, the Bryansk region takes 1st place in the Central Federal District and in the whole of the Russian Federation

In 2018, investments in fixed assets of the agricultural sector amounted to 13,5 billion rubles, which is 2,5 times more than in 2017. Currently, more than 20 promising investment projects are being implemented in the agro-industrial complex.
With the advent of large effective investors, who, in fact, became the trendsetters for introducing advanced technologies in the livestock sector, global changes have occurred. In the Bryansk region, large investment projects of such enterprises as Okhotno, Druzhba, Bryansk Meat Processing Plant, and Chicken Kingdom-Bryansk are being implemented. And it is already impossible to imagine the agro-industrial complex of the Bryansk region, which is developing rapidly and goes from record to record, without the Miratorg agricultural holding.
Achievements of the agro-industrial complex of the Bryansk region are the results of significant government support for the industry, the introduction of innovative technologies in the agricultural sector, constructive interaction with authorities, and favorable conditions for investors. As part of the activities of the state agricultural development program for 2018, more than 10 billion rubles were financed.
Innovation, a modern approach to agriculture, advanced technologies - many farm managers learned about all this from Alexander Bogomaz. Not only are people from different parts of Russia going to study in the region, but Europeans today are adopting the experience of the Bryansk advanced workers. The technologies of Bryansk farmers are studied all over the world, they really have something to be proud of, they have something to show.
