North Caucasus Federal University (NCFU), as part of its participation in the agricultural exhibition, presented its innovative developments in several areas. These include biopackaging, environmentally friendly films for food products, organochelating microfertilizers, seed germination stimulators, agricultural detergents, and functional feed additives for animals.
At the exhibition, NCFU also presented an information system for determining the physical and chemical parameters of soil and the state of plants based on the technology of wireless sensor networks and unmanned aerial vehicles. As previously reported, it can be used to study soil moisture in real time at the depth of the root system of plants, as well as monitor their condition and measure photosynthetic activity.
