About 1,75 thousand tons of potatoes were shipped from the region within two incomplete months of the new year; they were sent to other regions of Russia.
The largest supply was to the Krasnodar region, which purchased 684 tons of these products. 361,6 tons of Stavropol tubers were sold to the Rostov region, 19,8 tons to the Volgograd region, and 14,5 tons to the Tula region. The Republics of Adygea and Crimea received 19,1 tons and 14,1 tons, respectively.
In addition, Stavropol farmers exported 627,5 tons of tubers from the 2023 harvest to Georgia.
Thus, the total volume of supplies of potatoes grown in the region decreased by 1,7 times compared to the same period of the previous year.
