According to statistics, juice production in the region in 2023 increased by more than a third, which in quantitative terms amounted to over 35 thousand cans. Thus, the region supplied to the market 8% of the total volume of juices produced in the Central Federal District, and more than 2% of the entire country.
According to Deputy Chairman of the Government - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the region Vladislav Murashov, one of the reasons for the growth was the departure of foreign companies from the Russian market. The niches they previously occupied have become vacant, allowing regional producers to implement large-scale investment projects in the field of processing agricultural products.
