From May 1 of this year, the republic will introduce monitoring of the cost of export contracts for fruits and vegetables and control over the formation of export prices.
The list of fruits and vegetables with recommended minimum prices is approved by the Government Commission on Attracting Investments, Industrial Development and Trade Regulation. The final decision will be made based on proposals from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Agency for Quarantine and Plant Protection, and the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade.
If facts are revealed that the cost of export products has decreased by more than 20% of the recommended value, the Customs Committee will notify the Tax Committee and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan within XNUMX hours through the electronic information exchange system.
