The historical investment maximum at the end of 2023 amounted to 37,2 billion rubles. Of these, 21,2 billion rubles were allocated to agriculture and another 15,9 billion rubles to the food industry.
Today, 35 agro-industrial projects are being implemented in the region for a total amount of 93 billion rubles. After the launch of new enterprises, more than 1,5 thousand jobs will open here.
As local authorities emphasize, steady growth in investment is ensured by systemic support for agricultural producers from the Russian Government and co-financing of industry programs from the regional budget. Currently, a register has been opened for issuing preferential loans to Lipetsk farmers with lower rates than those offered by commercial banks.
According to Governor Igor Artamonov, attracting investment and commissioning modern production facilities contribute to the growth of foreign trade. Thus, last year the region was among the 15 leading exporting regions of the country.
