The first webinar of the magazine took place on March 11. It was dedicated to organizing the export of table potatoes. Vadim Zaitsev, commercial director of the Rus agricultural company (Nizhny Novgorod region), took on the main problems and subtleties of this process.
The webinar was hosted by Viktor Kovalev, Development Director of Agrotrade Company.
The conversation was mainly devoted to the supply of potatoes to the Republic of Moldova, as today the agricultural firm Rus interacts mainly with buyers from this country.
Vadim Zaitsev explained what requirements are placed on potato purchasers (lots infected with ring rot and nematode are not allowed in the country), gave a list of documents that need to be drawn up to arrange delivery, drew attention to possible difficulties, calculated the costs that the producer would have to take to send one car abroad (on average, 35 thousand rubles). And he wished agricultural producers to be more open in communicating with foreign buyers, since from his point of view, the success of sales often depends on the willingness of the parties to make contact, understand each other.
Webinar recording is available at YouTube.
