On September 1, 2022, by order of the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Vladimir, Kostroma and Ivanovo regions, in connection with the elimination of the population of the quarantine object - the golden potato nematode (Globodera rostochiensis (Woll.) The quarantine phytosanitary regime in these territories was introduced in 2009. The Department of Rosselkhoznadzor developed measures to localize and eliminate the quarantine object, providing for the cultivation of crops that are not affected by the pest, nematode-resistant varieties of potatoes, the use of the potato harvest only for their own food needs, and the processing of agricultural equipment. Thanks to the observance of the quarantine phytosanitary regime, 200 foci of the golden potato nematode were localized and eliminated on a total area of 54,8232 hectares.
The absence of a quarantine object in the outbreaks was confirmed by laboratory studies of selected soil samples. The studies were carried out in the phytosanitary testing laboratory of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "TsNMVL" and the Federal State Budgetary Institution "ARRIAH" in 2022.
