Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Gordeev said that departments are preparing proposals aimed at offsetting rising fuel prices for farmers, Interfax reports.
“With regard to agricultural producers, there are separate instructions (which were given) at a government meeting. They are aimed at ensuring that the ministries, together with the regions, make the appropriate calculations and submit them to the government, ”he told reporters in the Voronezh region. According to him, we are talking about "making compensation for additional losses of agricultural producers."
"Such proposals are being prepared now," the Deputy Prime Minister said. Noting that the rise in fuel prices affected everyone, A. Gordeyev recalled that the government had recently been actively negotiating with oil companies and introduced additional regulatory measures. “And today the rise in prices has been stopped,” he stated. With regard to relations with Belarus regarding the supply of falsified dairy products, A. Gordeev said that “we are now in discussions with Belarus.”
At the same time, the government is considering the possibility of using effective mechanisms to support domestic dairy producers. “The ministries of economic development, agriculture, finance have been instructed to see how the losses of agricultural producers can be compensated for, taking into account the fact that new complexes are being built and it takes time for their payback,” he said. - There is a problem, it is recognized. It remains to decide on the amount of support and effective mechanisms. "
