Participate in the campaign “Potato - a favorite of Europe since 1536 - will still surprise you!” now it is possible in the "real time" mode, following the updates in social networks, and on the site www.preparetobesurprised.eu. This was reported by the Association of European potato producers Europatat.
In the near future, a hundred amazing and inspiring recipes of potato dishes will be posted on the website and social networks of the project, demonstrating the amazing versatility of the product. Updates will come out under the hashtag #potatosurprises.
The most detailed information will be presented on Instagram, but tips and advice on potato cooking will also be published on Facebook, Pinterest and on YouTube.
Recall the project "Potato - a favorite of Europe since 1536 - will still surprise you!" implemented from January 2020 to December 2022. Funded by the European Commission as part of the EU assistance policy.
The project aims to stimulate the consumption of fresh potatoes among millennials (people aged 18 to 34 years) in Flanders (Belgium), France and Ireland. It is believed that many young Europeans have large gaps in knowledge about potatoes.
Campaign events are designed in such a way as to reveal the properties and advantages of the product to the maximum extent, using the element of surprise.
