The Sejm of Poland adopted a resolution introducing an embargo on the import of agricultural and food products from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. The document calling on the EU authorities received support from all factions of the Polish parliament.
The resolution states that imports of Russian and Belarusian agricultural products “continue to bring huge income to producers, traders and the budgets of these countries.” Therefore, the authors of the initiative consider it necessary to stop trading with them.
