- We are interested in two parameters - product quality and price. At the same time, we are interested in the possibility of producing some of the equipment here, in the republic. Due to this, the price can be reduced, - said Rustem Khamitov. - Let's work in this direction, maybe we will be able to create a joint venture. Then we will very quickly find contact and start working. Our market is large. We need a lot of equipment. You will have a good load for years to come. There are large regions around us that also need equipment. We can make good production.
Chapter RRustem Khamitov spoke at a large plenary meeting. That's what he said in particular:
«Glad to see you in this room, I greet everyone. I want to say that we are always happy to welcome guests. Our republic is extremely hospitable, generous.
Our main imperative is to live in such a way that both the residents of the republic and the guests who come to us feel good. We work for people, we try to ensure that the quality of life of our citizens is constantly growing, including through the development of agriculture.
I greet the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia, Ivan Vyacheslavovich Lebedev, and the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Czech Republic, Mr. Jiri Shira. We are sincerely glad.
I want to emphasize that the Republic of Bashkortostan is very large. In terms of numbers, we are the largest in the country among the republics, and in the ranking of the subjects of the Russian Federation in terms of numbers, we are seventh.
Of course, we are a large agricultural region. According to many indicators, one of the industry leaders in the country, and in terms of agricultural production - the seventh-eighth in the Russian Federation. We are doing a lot to develop our agricultural production.
The current forum and exhibition is dedicated to new technologies. The concepts of agriculture as a backward, non-technological sector that goes behind technical and technological progress are becoming history. These are all things of the past. Today, the industry is gaining momentum in terms of modern technology. This is visible to the naked eye.
Today at the forum you will discuss issues of technological development, innovative updates. Recently in his The messages The President of our country Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin emphasized that a forced breakthrough in digitalization of the domestic economy is a task of national importance.
Of course, digitalization, modern technologies, innovations are all inherent in modern agricultural production. New technologies are an important tool for increasing the efficiency of agricultural production, product quality and labor productivity in the agricultural sector.
As for productivity, we, of course, are still lagging behind the best, advanced examples that exist both in the world and in our country. But we are actively working on it.
Today, modern technology, digital systems are increasingly used in the industry, scientific developments are being introduced, and the results of breeding work. Two weeks ago, the Russian Government approved the roadmap for the Development of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering for 2018–2020. 19 billion rubles have been allocated for the introduction of biotechnology in agriculture ”.
The 2018 forum also involves great practical support to farmers, strengthening the personnel potential of the agro-industrial complex. During the days of the forum, the Farmer’s School and the School of Commerce will work, professional testing of students and young specialists, trainings for schoolchildren “Atlas of new professions”, and the AgroSkills 2018 competition are planned.
