Autumn for agricultural workers is the time for the end of the harvest, the time when you can look back, take stock of the next season and seriously think about how to most effectively prepare for the next agricultural year. It was at this time - from 9 to 12 October in Moscow, at the All-Russian Exhibition Center (VVC), that the VII International Specialized Exhibition "AgroTech Russia - 2012" began its work. The exhibition was addressed to those who linked their interest with the purchase of new, modern agricultural machinery, equipment necessary to equip enterprises of the agro-industrial complex and introduce modern technologies for the production, storage and primary processing of crop products.
About the exhibition
AgroTech Russia is one of the largest exhibitions of agricultural machinery and means of production for crop production in Russia, which is traditionally held within the framework of the Russian agro-industrial exhibition Golden Autumn 2012 (October 11-14). All events of the exhibition week held in Moscow are timed to the celebration of the All-Russian Day of workers in agriculture and processing industry.
This year, AgroTek was opened by Nikolai Fedorov, Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
512 companies and organizations from 29 countries of the world took part in the exhibition. The exposition was presented in Pavilion 75 and in open areas: on the Main Alley of the All-Russian Exhibition Center, at the Friendship of Peoples fountain - on a total area of 34 sq. M. The event was attended by about 000 thousand people, of which more than 22 percent are specialists in the agricultural sector.
Events
On October 9, on the territory of the All-Russian Exhibition Center, the ceremony of laying a unique flower exposition dedicated to the Holland-Russia Cross Year 2013 and the 200th anniversary of Russian-Dutch friendship took place. Tulips in the form of the state flags of Russia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands were planted in a large flowerbed near the Stone Flower fountain. The area of each "flag" is 30 sq.m. In total, over 3 thousand tulips of blue, red and white colors were used by Russian and Dutch specialists in the design of the flower bed. Visitors to the Exhibition Center will be able to see the blooming composition next spring.
The key event of the business program of the exhibition on October 9 was Business dialogue "Development of agricultural business in Russia in the WTO."
According to experts, the introduction of innovations in agricultural production is an important factor in the development of the economy. In the context of the WTO, Russia must use the most up-to-date equipment and advanced technologies in order to be competitive in the price range and reduce labor costs for production.
In conclusion of the discussion, both Russian and foreign guests came to the conclusion that the agricultural sector of Russia remains attractive to investors. The Russians have huge potential in the agricultural sector, and forecasts for the development of the country are very favorable. Despite the initial difficulties, joining the WTO will increase Russia's competitiveness in the international arena, and cooperation with other countries will allow reaching a fundamentally new level of development.
The following conferences were held as part of the exhibition: "Technical and technological re-equipment of the agro-industrial complex is the most important direction of the State Program for the Development of Agriculture for 2013-2020", "Mechanisms for the innovative development of the agro-industrial complex of Russia", "On improving legislation in the field of safe handling of pesticides and agrochemicals", "Improving the scientific foundations of the use of potash fertilizers ".
Of particular interest to visitors were themed workshops: “Modern machinery and equipment for breeding and seed production”, “New machines in horticulture and nursery farming”, “Work in gardens using high-energy energy.”
October 11, as part of the business program of the exhibition "Golden Autumn", opened its work Agroforum "State program for the development of agriculture and regulation of agricultural products, raw materials and food markets for 2013-2020: an effective implementation mechanism."
Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Nikolai Fedorov, Speaking at the Agroforum, I paid special attention to the support of beginning farmers:
“Today it is important to pay great attention to supporting small forms of agriculture. It is necessary to strengthen local financing, and to demand co-financing in the regions. Our new requirement is that the agricultural business in the regions be supported by the development of the entire infrastructure. This is the duty of power. Entrepreneurs are responsible for business, and the authorities are responsible for creating human conditions for the safe conduct of any business. ”
The pride for engineering specialists was participation and victories in industry competitions held within the framework of the exhibition: “For the production of highly efficient agricultural machinery and the introduction of advanced resource-saving technologies”, “For the development of modern methods of supervision of the technical condition of self-propelled vehicles and other types of machinery” in several nominations . The awards received in such competitions are the guarantor of the quality of products.
Participants
The Russian companies participating in the exhibition slightly exceeded the number of foreign ones: 283 against 229.
Among foreign exhibitors, Germany, the Netherlands, Hungary, Romania, and China were represented on a large scale. Belarus and Ukraine again became the most active countries from neighboring countries participating in the exhibition with their machinery, equipment and spare parts.
Along with individual stands, a number of foreign countries, in particular Germany, the Netherlands, and Hungary, presented collective expositions. The organizers of these exhibitions were the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Protection of Germany, the Ministry of Agriculture, environmental protection and food quality of the Netherlands, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hungary.
Thematic sections
Visitors to the exhibition got acquainted with modern samples (more than 300 units) of agricultural machinery and related equipment. Especially large-scale this year was presented machinery for fertilizing and plant protection, for harvesting grain and fodder, machines for land reclamation and for harvesting and cultivating potatoes, sugar beets and other vegetables. A wide variety of models was proposed in the section "Equipment for tillage, sowing and crop care".
Traditionally, at the AgroTek Russia exhibition, participating companies demonstrate their innovative developments. This year, 25 new products from Russian and foreign manufacturers were shown.
A special feature of this year's exhibition is the expanded and strengthened sections "Seeds and plant protection products and fertilizers", as well as "Transportation, storage and primary processing of crops." The range of products on display in these areas was distinguished by its large scale and uniqueness.
Potato seed companies presented their products in all their variety. I was amazed by the wide range of varieties recommended for table consumption and processing. An exotic for our country potatoes with purple pulp, intended for consumption in raw form, as a salad option, attracted attention.
Food varieties of potatoes for processing and suitable for cleaning and vacuum packaging are a pleasant gift for housewives living in modern cities and experiencing a lack of time. This type of packaging is applicable not only to potatoes. The exhibition presented technologies capable of packing cabbage, onions, etc. in a similar way.
In addition to individual packaging at the exhibition, one could see packaging for the transportation and wholesale of potatoes and other vegetables in retail chains.
Equipment for packaging and washing potatoes was presented. This technique is in demand because clean and conveniently packaged products sell much better.
The new is the well-forgotten old. The primitive potato dispensers used in Soviet self-service vegetable stores have turned into perfect modern equipment - a dispenser intended for the sale of bulk potatoes. The dispenser is installed in the sales area so that the customer can independently weigh the potatoes into a disposable bag. The tubers are loaded into a dispenser with a special cardboard box with a capacity of 200 kg.
For the first time at the AgroTek Russia exhibition, the Bioenergy section was presented. Biogas plants, biofuel boiler houses, motor fuels, technologies for growing, storing and transporting raw materials for biofuel production aroused great interest among visitors.
In the section “Management, Consulting and Information” it is worth noting the presented innovative projects on geospatial technologies, which allow using satellite data to draw up plans and maps for accounting, inventory and classification of farmland, as well as engage in precision farming with a certain benefit for the agricultural producer, without violating the environment environmental situation.
