A group of Russian specialists visited university laboratories (microclonal propagation of bananas and diagnosis of plant diseases), demonstration greenhouses (served for conducting educational demo experiments for farmers).
Then the expedition participants went to the production site of KF Biotech Pvt Ltd.
KF Biotech Private Limited is an agro-biotechnological enterprise with two areas of activity: the production of high-quality seed potatoes and the cultivation of bananas. Produces about 50 tons of seed potatoes per year.
The group saw how the staff of the micropropagation laboratory worked (the guests from Russia were interested in comparing Indian and Russian technologies) and visited the greenhouse where banana seedlings are grown.
Let us remind you that the expedition was organized by the Potato System magazine with the support of the Potato Union and the POTATOES NEWS portal.
