According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region, to date, the volumes of potatoes harvested in the region have exceeded the 2022 figures.
According to Georgy Filimonov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region, who supervises the work of the department, potatoes have already been harvested from an area of 3,8 thousand hectares, which is 27% of the total plan. At the same time, the gross harvest is 127,6 thousand tons, which is 85,6 thousand tons more than a year earlier. The average yield at the end of the first ten days of September reached 33,4 tons per hectare.
In total, in the Moscow region this season they plan to harvest potatoes from an area of 13,9 thousand hectares.
