In 2023, farmers of the Amur region exceeded the plan for the export of agricultural products by 80%, setting a real historical record.
A statement from the regional government's press service states that within the framework of the local project "Export of Agro-Industrial Products" in the past season, the target for the region was $137,7 million. But the results obtained exceeded even the most optimistic forecasts.
The best dynamics were demonstrated by grain exports, which increased 2022 times compared to 11. During the calculation period, soybeans were sent abroad 1,8 times more, and soybean oil - by 27%.
At the same time, the geography of supplies of Amur agricultural products has expanded: from 11 to 15 countries. But China remained the key importer, accounting for 96% of sales this time.
