The Aqualife Resource company (part of the Chernogolovka group of companies) has closed a deal to buy the Russian assets of the American Kellogg's (Kellogg Rus), including Pringles, which produces Pringles chips, TASS writes. According to the extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the company acquired 100% of the authorized capital on July 13.
The press service of Chernogolovka noted that Kellogg Rus will be renamed Lyubyatovo LLC. The company will continue to produce cereals under the Extra brand and the Dinosaurs, Unicorn and Choco Zavr brands. It is known that the rights to supply Pringles to Russia were not included in the deal, but Chernogolovka plans to start producing new chips according to its own recipe. Kellogg was founded in 1906 in the USA, and Kellogg Rus has been operating in Russia since 2008. Produces Pringles, Lyubyatovo, Krave, Dinosaurs and Unicorn breakfast cereals. The company has three factories - in Voronezh, Pskov and Vyazma, the staff is 1780 people.
