Farmers of the Ivanovo region received subsidies for the sowing campaign, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia reports. “96 farms received the financing necessary for seasonal field work. State support funds for farmers will be used to carry out activities for tillage, fertilization, preparation of seeds and planting material, sowing and planting,” said Denis Cherkesov, director of the Department of Agriculture and Food of the Ivanovo Region.
Subsidies for a complex of agrotechnological works in crop production for agricultural enterprises amounted to 35,1 million rubles.
They are provided at rates set for one hectare of sown area. The rate depends on the type of crop being sown. State support is aimed at preparing for the planting of potatoes and vegetables, the sowing of fiber flax, industrial hemp, cereals, legumes, oilseeds and fodder crops.
Recall that the total sown area in 2022, according to forecasts, in the Ivanovo region will exceed 200 thousand hectares. It is planned to increase sowing under cereals by 5,2 thousand hectares (+8% compared to last year), vegetables - by 40 hectares (+11% compared to last year) and potatoes - by 170 hectares (+18% compared to last year). ).
