On May 22, in the telegram channel of the Potato System magazine, a meeting was held with representatives of the trading network of Tander JSC (Magnit) Dmitry Galitsky and Yuri Sharygin on the issue of concluding agricultural contracts for growing potatoes and vegetables of borsch set for the season 2021/22. Farmers from all over Russia became active participants in the event: farmers from Chuvashia, North Ossetia, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Ryazan and Astrakhan regions asked questions.
The discussion began with a presentation of the basic principles of the agricultural contract. As explained by the representatives of Tander JSC, agricultural producers who have entered into an agricultural contract are committed to supplying a certain production center with the required volume of products within the time periods specified in the contract. In turn, the trading network provides the agricultural enterprise with financial support (at the beginning of the season it pays an advance - up to 30% of the contract amount). In addition, the specialists of Tander JSC carry out agronomic support and control at all stages of production (monitoring of the state of plants and the planned volume and quality of the crop is carried out); and also control the quality of products shipped at the manufacturer’s warehouse when goods are shipped to the RC.
The head of the Agricultural Contracting Department of Tander JSC, Yuri Sharygin, noted that the control and recommendations of the trade network’s specialists have two goals at the same time: “First, we want to make sure of the targeted use and return of the advanced funds. Secondly, we, together with agricultural producers, are pursuing a common policy of improving the quality of products using certified seeds, plant protection products, fertilizers, best practices in agricultural technologies, storage, sorting, packaging and agrology. ”
Chief of staff Potato Union Tatyana Gubina, who was present at the meeting, gave a professional assessment of the offer of the trading network: “The Potato Union has been cooperating with Magnit for many years. Today, the working conditions for agro-contracts of Magnit are the most adapted form of cooperation between the network and the manufacturer. ”
Further, representatives of Tander JSC in a few words talked about the selection criteria for agricultural enterprises (more detailed information can be obtained at official website), emphasizing that they consider product quality to be the main parameter.
The chief specialist of the Agricultural Contracting Administration Dmitry Galitsky pointed out that the first step for an agricultural producer who wants to start cooperation is to fill out a questionnaire (the form is on the official website), then you will need to prepare a set of documents (a list of which will be sent in response to a request), as well as provide a card fields, those. maps of soil preparation, cultivation, harvesting and bookmark storage for contracted crops; certificates for all sowing and planting material; chemical processing journal; list of machinery and equipment.
Representatives of Tander JSC emphasized that the company traditionally begins to discuss cooperation issues after the end of the next season, in November-December, and the final conclusion of contracts takes place in March-April. Therefore, this meeting should be considered as fact-finding and aimed at preparing for the 2021/22 season.
“Nevertheless,” as Yuri Sharygin said, “despite the fact that the main part of suppliers has already been identified in 2020, we are open for dialogue, ready to consider all proposals (they can be sent by mail: the Raz_sh@Magnit.r) and respond to a possible period of cooperation. "
